Feedback
Advantage vs Frontline | Frontline vs Advantix | Revolution vs Frontline I have been a faithful user of Frontline Plus for years. When placing an order recently, on check out I was prompted that I could save if I used K9 Advantix so I tried it and was very disappointed. Not only was it more of a chore to apply, all three of my dogs picked up ticks. I will not try another product again. It's Frontline Plus for my dogs! I used Frontline for several years and then, one year, it just seemed to stop working. I switched to Advantix and the results were immediate and longlasting. I used the product for several years and then, this year, it just seemed to stop working (dogs covered with dozens of huge ticks). So I switched back to Frontline and, voila, immediate results. Great product but some form of resistance seems to build up after a few years so switching back and forth with Advantix may be a better solution. I supply 7 dogs and 1 cat with the Frontline Plus. I have tried some of the others and did not like them. I have used this product for years and it keeps my animals and my home free of fleas, ticks, and thier eggs. I and my pets are just thrilled and I get the best priceing and shipping from Pet Meds. Most of the time I order a years supply at one time, that way I know they are taken care of every month. I stopped using front line at a critical time of the year and did I pay dearly. Had fleas so bad was putting my dog in the bath every other day dropping 20 to 25 fleas at a time. This continued for about 2 to 3 months. I never saw fleas in the carpet but my two dogs suffered a lot. This was happening when we had 4 feet of snow on the ground. So that tells you how bad my flea problem was. I will not make that mistake intentionally again. My Aussie had horrible itching problems on his front paws andhis side/back area. We tried all sorts of sprays and shampoos but nothing seemed to really work. I decided to try Frontline Plus because of all the good reviews and it did help tremendously to get rid of the itching and the few fleas that we saw. I know he still has a few hot spots but I would definitely recommend Frontline Plus to anyone who needs to stop itching/get rid of fleas!
